Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information Ticlu, a product operated by Link Corporation, collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details you provide, such as your name, email, username and profile photo.
  • Content you create, such as selfies, captions and comments.
  • Optional location you choose to attach to a post.
  • Basic device and usage data that helps the app run reliably.

2. Signing in with Google

When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google Account to create and secure your Ticlu account. We request only your basic profile and email; we do not access any other Google data, and we never post to your Google Account.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve Ticlu. That means showing your posts to the right people, powering notifications, keeping the community safe, and diagnosing and fixing problems.

4. What we share

We do not sell your personal data. Content is shared only according to the audience you choose. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the app, or when required by law.

5. Your controls

  • Choose who can see your profile and posts in Settings → Privacy.
  • Block accounts you don't want to interact with.
  • Edit or delete your content at any time.
  • Delete your account to remove your data.

6. Behavioural analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised interaction data such as taps, scrolls, screen visits and crashes, so we can find and fix bugs and improve the app. Personal content (photos, captions, comments, profile info, search queries) is masked on the device before it leaves it; what we see is the layout of what you tapped, not what you typed or saw.

In the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland and Brazil this is opt-in, so we ask before we collect anything. Everywhere else it's on by default and you can switch it off any time in Settings → Privacy → "Help improve the app". When off, no behavioural data is captured or sent.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we remove it from the app, with short delays for backups and legal requirements.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage a strong, unique password.

9. Children

Ticlu is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

10. Changes & contact

We'll let you know in the app if this policy changes in a meaningful way. For any privacy questions, contact Link Corporation at hello@linkcorporation.org.
